Collinwood is assisting our client, in seeking an experienced SAP PMO Manager. This is an interesting project with our partner, a French Cheese manufacturer located in New York, NY. (Hybrid 2 days in office and 3 days remote.)

** (This is a Hybrid Opportunity that requires some travel onsite)

Job Overview:
The SAP Project Management Office (PMO) Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of multiple SAP related initiatives and projects within the client’s organization. The PMO Manager is expected to promote and enforce the use of current SAP implementation methodologies (including ASAP, A2O or Activate). The SAP PMO Manager oversees the development of work plans, manages deadlines, coordinates team activities, identifies required project skills, and works with the project team to identify appropriate resources and manages their integration/coordination with other teams. In addition, the SAP PMO Manager defines and agrees on deliverables and milestones, set and controls scope, as well as communicates status and vision to senior management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance, work plan monitoring and updates to the stakeholders in accordance with implementation methodology
  • Maintain overall project implementation plan with accurate project timeline(s) and hours
  • Review and coordinate the completion of all project deliverables
  • Maintain catalog of all project-related issues
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks
  • Monitor time and expense budgets and take proactive action as needed
  • Conduct staff meetings and Steering Committee meetings as needed
  • Communicate project status to VP and C-Level stakeholders on a regular basis

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of SAP PMO experience
  • 3+ full life cycle implementations with S/4 HANA or S/4 HANA Cloud
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and scope a project and to manage project through to completion
  • SAP ERP functional experience, Finance or Logistics preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP data conversion and security best practices
  • Process oriented thinking
  • Strong leadership, ownership, and personal drive to solve problems
  • Team player and able to guide and influence to achieve end goals
  • Ability to think strategically while simultaneously being operationally hands-on as circumstances require
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or Information Technology or related fields

Recommended:

  • Experience with SAP Business One ERP solution
  • PMP certification
  • Testing experience and/or automated testing tools experience such as HPQC
