The Newly Renovated Sands Resort Is Seeking a Food & Beverage Director
$89,000 - $156,000 per year plus attractive annual performance bonus and benefit package
Are you an up and coming highly driven Food & Beverage leader? Are you ready to make your mark unveiling the Sands Regency Resorts new food and beverage venues? We’re looking for a take charge leader that is proactive and ready for a challenge. Someone that’s great at building a unified team with an eye for detail and a drive to create unique and memorable dining experiences for our guests with an eye for efficiency and profitability.
Responsible for the pre-opening training and day-to-day management of our new food and beverage operation which includes: an upscale Steakhouse, urban 3-meal, contemporary buffet, We Proudly server Starbucks Market, small group banquet operations, casino, and specialty bars.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversees all F&B outlets, venues, banquet operations and catering for the Sands Regency/ The J Resort
- Work with department property management to insure we are utilizing our staffing to the best of our abilities for multiple venues and properties
- Oversee accountability of all Managers, Supervisors, Servers, and support personnel through effective and consistent communication and delegation
- Oversee and expedite proper product storage, quality, presentation, and consistency
- Create and modify multiple restaurant and menu products with Corporate F&B Director
- Establish and oversee proper food service and quality and experience
- Maintain and enforce all sanitation and health department requirements
- Oversees all FOH and BOH personnel hiring and training
- Regular interactions with leadership in a collaborative effort to ensure product satisfaction and guest needs are being met
- Oversee department compliance regarding all sanitation rules and requirements.
- Maintain current and accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Oversee and ensure the culinary operations are in satisfactory conditions to meet local health requirements as well as all other applicable regulatory requirements
- Oversee and guide all front of the house personnel training, development and discipline
- Monitor all kitchen, stewarding, beverage, and restaurant expenses and inventories
- Coordinate with Corporate Food and Beverage Director in the development of service standards and F&B programing for current and future operations
- Work with the Assistant General manager, General Manager, Nevada VP of operations, and corporate
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- 5-7 years Casino F&B /resort management or equivalent management experience preferred
- High School Diploma – Four years college preferred
- Formal restaurant management training within corporate environment
- Business School or Hospitality Management courses
- Quick service, banquet, full-service restaurant, and fine dining operations—front and back of house, Banquets and special event planning, organization, execution
- State Health regulations and best practices
- Budgeting and planning process
- State liquor laws and best practices
- Software: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Internet, Office, UKG, Redrock
- Marketing and advertising fundamentals
- Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management
- Team building/leadership/development, Interpersonal: coaching, counseling, mentoring, public relations
