LDF is looking for a Dynamic, Experienced and Energetic Sales Manager for Wine & Spirits - Oklahoma who will work independently to direct the purchase, pricing, distribution, sales and merchandising of the entire wine & spirits portfolio for the Oklahoma market. This leader will hire and direct the sales team in all Oklahoma markets and will be responsible for achieving planned results as outlined in the annual corporate plan. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 to 10 years management experience leading a team to success in achieving sales growth and have industry related experience and/or beverage sales experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistently demonstrates a high degree of integrity, honesty, accuracy,, professionalism and initiative as well as supports a collaborative, results-focused culture.
Manages product portfolio growth and development including purchasing, pricing, positioning, and distribution for the LDF Oklahoma Wine & Spirits (W&S) Division.
Assists in participating in the annual strategic plan, corporate objectives and supporting strategies.
Provides monthly sales and net income forecasts.
Solicits new wine and spirits product lines for the Oklahoma LDF distribution territory, acts as the brand manager for all products sold for W&S.
Recruits, hires, develops, and retains people who contribute to the achievement of corporate success.
Conducts sales training and educational meetings for entire Oklahoma team.
Conducts annual performance evaluations and provide developmental growth strategies that support strengths and address identified weaknesses.
Provides consistent communication to sales and delivery teams.
Maintains open communication with Executive Management and Department and Sales Managers.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of positive customer growth and relationships.
Maintains supplier relations that both generate and is receptive to suggestions that will enhance our mutual image, growth, and profitability.
Plans and actively solicits methods and means by which the company can expand its services, distribution area or product lines.
Able to apply judgment to complete what may be considered less routine tasks/duties
Performs other duties as determined by the GM/EVP.
Qualifications: Requires 7-10 years of wine & spirits knowledge and sales experience, and at least 5 years of sales management with a proven track record in sales achievement and leadership.
Education/Experience: Prefer college graduate with degree emphasis in marketing or equivalent experience, plus additional professional sales training programs.
Language Ability: Superior interpersonal communications skills. Written communication skills sufficient to write corporate objectives and strategies, supplier and customer letters, employee appraisals and other professional documents.
Math Ability: Analytical ability sufficient to create a budget, analyze financial statements to effect change to achieve gross margin and operating profit goals. Expected to complete complex purchasing/pricing analysis at wholesale and retail levels.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid drivers’ license
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises sales staff, influences, and encourages, departmental progress to plan and adjusts as needed. Conducts employee performance evaluations annually.
Work Environment: Normal office environment, customer accounts and travel between accounts

Requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling and routine lifting/carrying 26-50 lbs.
