Job Summary:

This position is new to the Disney Gatherings (Non-Leisure) organization and will support Meetings & Events Ticket Sales. You will work directly with sales and services managers, clients and internal partners to ensure the client group ticket requirements are delivered and processes for ordering, payments and reservations are efficient. This role will be primarily re-active to inquiry requests and/or referrals. Working closely with sales managers, you will be following-up with clients on specific order requests. This role will also work closely with revenue management, technology, ticket services, pricing and Group Travel Operations to support the growth of this business. The role is an individual contributor that will require a hands-on approach to all functions and will be responsible for communicating processes internally. This role offers a hybrid work schedule to start.

This role reports to the Group Business Integration Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the achievement of the annual operating plan sales goals for theme park tickets in meetings and events.

  • Approve and monitor all online ticket stores for groups, tracking sales volume, and communicating with clients and reporting on results as needed.

  • Responsible for the bulk ticket process for all Disneyland Sales Solutions, primarily focused on meetings and events (both on and offsite); supporting the sales and services managers by working directly with clients to process the ticket order and ensure all resort requirements are communicated to the client.

  • Ensure all add-on options (Genie+, Gift Cards and Meal Cards) are promoted to bulk ticket clients.

  • Responsible for the inventory allocation record (System of Record) to ensure group requests are not aging and communicating directly with clients as needed to validate the order or cancel the request.

  • Use reporting to monitor bulk ticket requests, understand order trends or identify issues that might negatively impact clients or the business.

  • Become the subject matter expert on all ordering processes, from client facing communication to internal ordering and payment process.

  • Understand all key systems connected to the ticketing process.

  • Develop client/guest facing documentation as needed.

  • Work directly with pricing to implement pricing changes as directed.

  • Review current processes and make recommendations for changes that support growth and efficiency.

  • Understand the yielding strategy for the resort as applied to bulk tickets and develop ideas to support new growth initiatives (new products, entitlements).

Basic Qualifications

  • Understanding of Disneyland Resort theme park ticketing technology and processes.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience at the Disneyland Resort.

  • Experience with technology and passion to learn new skills.

  • Ability to work with guests/clients and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills to support a high volume of transactions.

  • Ability to collaborate with Cast in various roles, seeking the best possible solution to an opportunity.

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated strong skills in Microsoft Office Programs and Applications.

  • Ability to learn and use Excel.

  • Experience with Travel Company, Group Travel Operations and/or Sales and Services or related organizations at the Disneyland Resort.

  • Ability to adapt to change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics.

  • Experience with Disneyland Resort Ticketing Technology.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent level of experience.

The hiring range for this position in California is $55,022.00 to $73,810.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
