Camerican is seeking a highly motivated, results driven, customer centric Sales Professional to manage and grow our retail private label business. This position is responsible for selling to, building, growing and expanding relationships with assigned customers and ensuring execution of all cross-functional operations related to the accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling multiple changing priorities while providing excellent client service by delivering accurate and prompt support to external and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Leverage customer insights to identify business opportunities and strategies
- Accurately prepare sales quotes and determine necessary tactical and strategic approach to grow the business
- Analyze sales forecasts, coordinate with Procurement team to ensure optimal inventory position
- Create and sustain an environment of partnership and collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal departments
- Engage cross functional teams (Sales/Procurement Support, Logistics, QA and Accounting) to execute plan of action, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer needs and drive profitable growth
Skills & Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Food Science, Marketing, Finance, Business or related field
- 5-7 years’ related experience within the food industry a must; Retail Private Label preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships across functional groups
- Flexible self-starter with strong work ethic; results driven
- Ability to manage multiple projects and internal and external demands; sense of urgency
- Problem solver with well-developed organizational and time management skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel to client site/trade shows, as needed
