Position Summary

The Sales Commissions Analyst will be primarily responsible for the processing, reporting, and optimizing the sales incentive commission process. The role ensures accuracy and timely completion of sales commissions.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Entry of annual sales quota plans into systems
  • Entry and maintenance of compensation plans into commissions system
  • Provide support to the North America Sales team with commission related requests and ad hoc analysis
  • Set up new and maintain existing catalog numbers in commissions system
  • Maintains sales associate data (i.e. new hires, terminations, role changes) in systems that drive the payment of commissions
  • Audits and corrects commission statements for gross sales, adjustments, installations, backlog, renewal and special commission activity
  • As applicable, calculates and records sales quota adjustments in the system
  • Responsible for monthly commission period close and uploads transactions to commissions system
  • Publishes monthly commissions statements
  • Ensures compliance with SOX controls
  • Analyzes commission plan performance and communicates summary of results to leadership
  • As a subject matter expert, this role partners with sales personnel to address sales quota and commission payment inquiries by analyzing sales results, researching transactions, and compensation plans
  • Partners with the broader Sales Compensation team to evaluate sales transactions to ensure appropriate commissions and bonuses are awarded under compensation plans
  • Partners with sales operations to operationalize sales promotions, including awarding sales quota, calculating commissions and bonuses, and reporting results

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Prior experience in Finance, HR, or supporting Sales Operations
  • Prior experience working with sales compensation
  • Experience working with Callidus Cloud a plus
  • Strong English-speaking skills that will be required to interact daily with the North America Sales Team
  • Highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Excel and solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Power Point, Word).
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Attributes & Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in Callidus or other sales compensation tools
