This job provides necessary integration into the Category Review process to enable Best-in-Class Customer Partnerships and Winning Shelf Plans for a growing customer within a fast-paced organization. It delivers technical expertise in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), JDA Space Planning Software, PowerBI, and Nielsen (Scanning and Shopper-Panel) to deliver on customer needs with excellence. It also provides analytical, administrative, and technical capability to enable leadership to influence and sell Category Growth Strategies. Mastery of systems and process knowledge aids in developing skills in new team members and improving processes ongoing.
The successful candidate would be a self-starter with a “Can Do” attitude that can work independently, handle a high-volume workload, use expertise of multiple systems/tools, and the ability to partner well with others to achieve results. You must be a problem-solver and technical specialist; able to identify and lead process improvements while learning new skills/tools. You should possess the ability to help us build collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with others while performing in a sales role. You will partner with the Sales Director of Category Management and work with 10 Category Development Account Executives across all categories within the P&G Portfolio (Laundry & Cleaning, Paper & Bath, Beauty and Health, and more).
Qualifications

- Competency in developing business/category knowledge, and ability to leverage analytics and data.
- Displayed problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ongoing acceleration within systems to develop mastery, continual learning mindset as systems evolve, and ability to leverage knowledge to develop and train new team members.
- Ability to design and create capability.
- Proven stewardship, people development skills, and communication skills.
- Ability to consistently deliver granular, time-bound projects with excellence.
- 3+ years relevant business data administrative experience.
- Technical expertise on JDA Space Planning (Planogram) software and tools that enable analytics with large data sets – specifically MS Excel, 1010 Data, & Nielsen.
- Experience working in a fast-paced Sales environment with sense of urgency and professional delivery to customer needs.
REQUIRED (SKILLS / EXPERIENCES) FOR THE ROLE:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
- Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Functions, Complex Data sets).
- Willingness to learn new systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
- Ability to deal with complex business situations and multiple priorities.
- Occasional overtime may be required to full-fill the core responsibilities of the job.
