EMSL Analytical Inc. one of the largest environmental testing laboratories in North America is looking for an energetic full time Sales Assistant to join our expanding sales team at our laboratory located in Atlanta, GA. This position will require a person that can learn things quickly, deal with complex systems, and will require a long-term career building commitment. The Sales Assistant position has great potential for a long term career growth path to-wards an Account Representative position.

As a Sales Assistant, working under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager and/or Regional Account Representatives, you will complete the following tasks:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer service support (phone, email, etc.) for the Reps for their clients
Generate and qualify leads by placing outbound calls to qualified prospect
Follow up calls to clients and client interaction under the direction of the Sales Account Manager
Data Entry and maintenance of EMSL Marketing Database
Create/Send marketing materials and/or sales proposals/quote
Trouble shooting client issues related to invoices, reports, testing, etc.
Client Support for Coordination and Scheduling Issues
Place Shopping Cart Orders for Customers for supplies, equipment
Any/all other Client Advocacy support services to help ensure repeat buying

Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Associates Degree a plus
One to three years’ experience with sales and/or marketing is a plus
Recent College Graduates welcome to apply who have some job experience in Customer Service
Client Advocacy/Customer Service
Must have excellent phone etiquette and demonstrate professional demeanor
Science background is a plus but not required
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to prioritize work assignments and work in fast paced setting
Must be proficient in MS Office and computer literate- will be working with complex systems
Must have excellent communication (written and verbal)
Looking for Enthusiastic and positive people with willingness to learn, and ability to multi-task
Training will be provided

Available Shift:
Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
