Sales Administrative Assistant
Our fast-growing and well-established manufacturing company is looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant at our Tampa location. This position would simplify, strengthen, and provide clerical and administrative support to the sales department and its activities.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Requirements:
· 5 years of professional administrative work experience - Accounting & Sales experience preferred
· Ability to have initiative, work well with others, sell products/services and work under strict deadlines
· Exceptional verbal, written, editing & proofreading communication skills
· Outstanding computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, Google Sheets & QuickBooks
· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
· This position requires the ability to assume additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow or as needed by the immediate supervisor.
The administrative support emphasis includes:
- Receive, process, coordinate, prepare and administrate sale orders online over the phone and email
- Checking the accuracy of orders, issuing invoices, maintaining sales records, and compiling monthly sales reports
- Liaise with other departments, ensure timely deliveries, and research new product lines
- Key contacts and direct communication with all levels of company personnel (as directed by chain of command), exhibitors, customers, and prospective clients
- Ensure sales targets are met, administer sales calendar as assigned
and report any deviations
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally
- Follow SOP on sales activities such as order submission, new customer documentation, updating customer documents, and customer/vendor relations
- Maintain sales department records and files
- Provide information, research, and resolves problems from multiple departments (accounting, processing, production, and warehouse).
- Assist with sales rep travels including flights, hotels, presentations, promotional material, and itineraries
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee all trade shows and events
Compensation and Benefits:
· $40,000 - $45,000 starting salary based on experience
