Job Description
Cynergies Solutions Group is looking for qualified candidates for a RPG AS/400 Programmer Analysts for our Cleveland, OH area client.

Primary duties and responsibilities
Will be responsible to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and/or existing software applications and reporting. Drives full SDLC life cycle for maintenance or new development in support of the achievement of business requirements. Interacts with business owners, analysts, developers, management and other necessary resources to write requirements, code, test, and analyze applications and reports. The Programmer/Analyst will also research, design, document, provide status and create/modify software specifications.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- iSeries AS/400 Programmer utilizing of RPG, RPG-ILE, COBOL, SQL, AS/400 environments, DB2 Database.
- Ability to write program specification and coding from program specifications is required.
- Ability to work with API's and various integration techniques cross platforms.
- Knowledge and experience with modeling and designing DB2 and SQL on AS/400.
- Ability to solve difficult problems and deal with a variety of variables without a defined 'right-answer'.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Certifications in ITIL, ITSM, Project Management, or System Architecture (Togaf, etc.) a plus.
- Must be able to demonstrate 8+ years of experience with the required responsibilities.
