Liberty Tire has an immediate opening for a Box Truck Driver at our Grove City, OH facility. This job requires a qualified driver to oversee daily collection of waste tire with the assistance of a driver helper. Routes are assigned by dispatch; however, it is the responsibility of the driver to successfully manage the loading and transportation of waste tire to the home facility. Included in this position will be the responsibility to complete all DOT required paperwork and company paperwork at each collection site. Drivers may at times be responsible for transporting monies received at collection sites from customers who are on a cash only basis.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and know safe lifting techniques to lift and load tires of all sizes (personal vehicle, truck and tractor tires)
• Knowledge and understanding of navigating with local maps
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude in demanding situations
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to dispatch through the successful completion of DVIR's; maintain clean, safe equipment
• Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety standards
• Other duties will be assigned as necessary by the company
• Driver must comply with all of FMCSA regulations at all times during their employment

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills):

• Requires (2) years FMCSA commercial driving experience.

Abilities Required:

• Must be capable of lift up to and including fifty (50) pounds on a routine basis and 75 + with assistance
• Lace tires in a safe manner to reduce injury and maintain a secure load during transport
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public
• Work independently with general instructions
• Perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
