Roll-Off Dumpster CDL Driver

JOB Summary:

Buck Disposal is offering a salaried posion to safely operate a KW T880 Roll-Off truck and is responsible for preparing, loading, and transporng open top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer staons, recycling facilies and customer locaons. Roll-Off Drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in ght overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essenal, to successfully perform this job.

Essenal Dues and Responsibilies:

• Operates vehicle in accordance with Buck Disposal Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupaonal and

Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportaon) requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.

• Performs pre- and post-trip inspecons of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspecon Report.).
• Immediately reports any unsafe situaons or service-related issues to Manager or

Dispatch.

• Atends and parcipates in any scheduled training programs, briefings, and team meengs.
• Works closely with Managers to improve route efficiencies and idenfy best pracces.
• Nofies Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
• Nofies Manager or Dispatch of service interrupons, including blocked containers, closed lots, street, alleyways or potenal safety hazards.
• Communicates customer requests to Manager or Dispatch.
• Idenfies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement
• Completes and submits customer ckets as required.
• Posions and / or returns container on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids and or doors are properly replaced, and do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
• Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentaon and the checkout process.
• Performs all dues as scheduled by Manager or Dispatch and assisng other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
• Perform dues in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
• Other dues as designated by the Facility Manager.

Qualificaons:

• Experience: 3 – 5 years of previous experience operang a vehicle requiring a CDL (or equivalent military driving within the last 5 years).
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Prior experience in a fast-pace environment a must
• Commercial Driver’s License B (CDL).
• The CDL is a requirement; therefore, an applicant must be 21 years of age.
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial ‘Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement.
• Acceptable driving record required.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle record review.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base Salary of $55-70K depending on experience and qualificaons
• Bonus: Potenal for incenve-based compensaon based on job performance and company profitability.
