Mid-States Concrete Industries offers a unique opportunity right here in South Beloit, IL! We are a family owned and operated company. Since 1946, we have produced structural and architectural precast concrete systems that provide our partners with high quality building materials with sustaining performance.
Road Crew Team Members travel regionally to install precast concrete walls, beams, columns, and hollowcore for buildings of all types. These buildings range from the senior living community where grandparents reside, to the multi-family apartment building a newlywed couple calls their first home, to the school gymnasium where 10-year-olds learn how to shoot a three pointer.
Our Road Crew isn’t afraid to get dirty and shows up with a positive attitude, ready to work hard and knock out the day. They work as a team with safety as their top priority, so everyone looks out for everyone. Our Road Crew is reliable - they not only show up for work every day but complete all of their tasks and responsibilities at a world-class standard.
Road Crew Team members communicate well with their team, keeping everyone on the same page, and know how to organize their day for maximum results. Prior experience in Construction is a must. Additionally, an ideal candidate:
- Is looking for a career, not just a job
- Has the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Is able to read a tape measure
- Has the ability to follow standard work instructions
- Enjoys working outdoors/in the elements
- Is comfortable working at heights
- Has a valid driver’s license with no more than one (1) minor moving violation
- Is able and willing to travel
