This well-established Mohs surgery practice specializes in the treatment of skin cancer in an outpatient office-based setting, providing an opportunity to work with some of the most renowned physicians in skin cancer treatment.
This position for a Medical Assistant, RN or LPN offers the opportunity to work as an important part of our team of dedicated, quality-focused professionals to provide excellent patient care. Flexible FT schedule for a Medical Assistant, RN, LPN with 2 AFTERNOONS OFF per week, paid holidays off, no nights/weekends/call. Surgical experience helpful but will train the right candidate.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing care to patients undergoing skin surgery, including:
· Pre- & postoperative patient & family education
· Preparation of patient for procedures
· Preparation of room for procedures
· Assisting providers with surgical procedures
· Suture removal
· Wound care
· Charting in EMR
· Communicating patient needs to provider
Job Requirements
· RN/LPN/CMA/RMA
· 1 year of recent office or hospital experience
· Current NC licensure
· Certification in BLS
