Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an RMF (Rubber Manufacturing Facility) Production Operator. This is a 1st Shift position, located in Newbern, Tennessee.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and use proper safety devices as provided. Abide by and actively promote all facility safety guidelines and quality procedures
• Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds
• Ensure all material available for next run per the production schedule prior to starting set-up of machine
• Load material onto machine per spec sheets and standard operating instructions
• Run machines per spec sheet and operating instructions, completing required quality checks, operating and quality paperwork, travelers, etc. as required
• Aid in development and continuous improvement of Standardized Work documentation on an on-going basis
• Maintain a channel of communication between management and departmental personnel on shift cross-over
• Monitor productivity to ensure that established quality and production levels are maintained to support the plant mission statement
• Maintain 5-S Standards in work area
• Actively participate in plant improvement projects and teams
• Perform other duties as assigned
