In This Role You Will:
The Respite Care Worker is responsible for providing temporary care to a HCBS child in order to provide a parent/caregiver with a needed break so as to ease the stress at home and improve family harmony.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Fully vaccinated
  • 1 year of experience working with children with special needs and their families.
  • Ability to work amongst diverse social, cultural, and economic groups.
  • Good written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and have some knowledge with using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Bilingual in one or more of the following: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali and others, may be required depending on client needs.
