Eliza Jennings, a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is seeking to hire a Resident Transport Driver for its retirement campus, The Renaissance, located in Olmsted Township.

Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday, 7:00a.m. - 5:30p.m.
Must have some flexibility in the evenings and weekends.
Schedule will vary based on transportation schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Meet, greet, assist, and transport resident's daily.
• Prepare vehicle for trip, assure comfortable temperature, review safety supply checklist etc.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles; secure wheel chairs.
• Transport to the main building and assist residents in and out of vehicle, assuring compliance with all safety regulations, policies and procedures. Oversee and implement safety and security of participants; address incidents; call 911 if required.
• Perform general vehicle maintenance such as refueling, oil checks, window washer fluid replacement and general cleaning; check vehicle regularly for damage.
• Regularly inspect vehicles and schedule required repair and maintenance work.
• Assure cleanliness of the interior vehicle at the conclusion of each trip: empty trash, sweep and vacuum, perform general cleaning and disinfecting, as required. Wash vehicles.
• Maintain daily transportation logs and daily and weekly inspection logs.

Qualifications:

• CDL preferred
• Clear driving record
• Professional Driving Experience (5 Years Minimum)
• Valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of city and demonstrated ability to read maps
• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills
• Customer service skills
