Overview:
  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $18.50 to $25.00+. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
  • Additional pay for evening and overnight shifts!
We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares and designated health related services to improve and/or maintain the residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
This caregiver position includes;
  • 64 hours in two weeks
  • Evening Shift Hours
  • Every other weekend rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:
  • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
  • Under direction of Nurse provides tasks such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Performs specified home services such as; laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
  • Assists with onboarding of new staff
Qualifications:
  • Required Skills:
    • If under 18, must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
    • Ability to communicate optimally, with emotional intelligence and patience for residents and coworkers
    • Able to work in a team setting and support others
    • Work with a diverse and older population

    Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

    • Previous work experience or formal training/education as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA or similar; preferred
    • Work experience in a customer service setting; preferred
