We are looking for a very DETAILED, COMPUTER-SAVVY person to oversee our luxury property reservations department

Position Summary:
The Reservations / Guest Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that a high level of professional and friendly service is provided to our homeowners and both existing and prospective guests by providing oversight through all aspects of the reservation process and guest experience. This includes feedback and direct involvement in telephone and electronic sales and service processes, gathering and updating sales reports, coaching and motivating team members to attain sales goals, and maintaining a high guest satisfaction rating by taking ownership in addressing guest issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Must have strong leadership skills, the ability to stay highly organized, highly effective communication skills, and keen attention to detail by discerning patterns in data and creating action plans. Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and monitor activities of all employees in the reservations department to ensure your team is adhering to all company standards
- Training and development of the reservations department, conducting performance reviews, and disciplinary action
- Recruiting new members to the reservations department: screening, conducting interviews, and assisting in the hiring process
- Ensuring that a professional but fun and energetic work atmosphere is always maintained
- Conducting weekly reservations meetings using focused reports to identify areas of opportunity and wins
- Developing and setting both short and long-term reservation team goals for homeowner and company success; tracking progress toward goals and providing direct feedback to the reservations team
- Taking ownership and finding solutions for guest complaints and special requests, homeowner requests, and interdepartmental needs that arise
- Proactively coaching to fill property vacancies by working with property managers to identify areas of opportunity
- Work closely with all other company departments and vendors to ensure guest and homeowner satisfaction is maintained and identify improvement areas
- Coordinate and follow up on daily reservations team activities
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Working with third-party vendors and partners as necessary
- Monitor company email boxes and guest communication lines
- Becoming a product, home, and policies expert to effectively coach and build knowledge among the reservation and guest service team
Education and Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent education background
- Extensive familiarity with our geographic area
- Highly successful experience leading a team in a fast-paced customer-facing industry, reservations, customer service department, or similar hospitality field
- Experience with vacation rental booking platforms is preferred
Special Requirements:

- Work well if high-paced and stressful environments

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
