The Division of Behavioral Health Services and Policy Research is seeking a Research Project Manager who can provide research assistance to our OMH Policy Scholars and OnTrackNY research programs and administrative assistance to our Center for Practice Innovations (CPI) Continuing Education (CE) program.

OMH Policy Scholars are new investigators who are awarded a year-long grant to complete a project relevant to an issue of priority to the New York Office of Mental Health. They often require research assistance to complete their projects.

The CE program at CPI works with various professional agencies to obtain continuing education credentials for the center's various learning programs which includes online modules, webinars and in-person trainings. This individual will collaborate with many CPI staff and initiatives and will receive continuous exposure to new and developing behavioral health care material.

This position requires someone with excellent organizational skills, strong reading comprehension, clarity in written and verbal communication, an attitude of responsibility, and who is detail-oriented and intrinsically motivated. Work for this position will be remote and will transition to on-site as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities, tasks, and activities for the OMH Policy Scholars and OnTrackNY research projects include:

• Assisting with recruitment and consent procedures with study participants and interviewing participants.
• Data collection, checking, extraction, cleaning, analysis, and summarization.
• Manuscript revision, literature reviews, and other duties as required.

Responsibilities, tasks, and activities for the CE support include:

• Ensuring courses meet compliance for various behavioral health licensures, to maintain the CPI's accreditation.
• Compile and review applications for future accreditations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent in experience and education.
• 6 months of experience in a research environment or working on a research project.
• 6 months of administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months of experience with continuing education programs and requirements, including Nursing and Medical Education.
