Remote HEDIS Nurse opportunity! Must live in Florida - LPN's & RNs

Description:

The HEDIS nurse will abstract data from medical records and input data into electronic medical records from the comfort of their home. The nurse will use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and dual-monitors in this role. The nurse will be managing multiple charts/projects at the same time. Occasional calls to provider offices is expected. This role functions as part of a larger HEDIS nurse team.

HEDIS Nurses will review/audit charts of the specific patient populations listed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Active LPN licensure in the state of FL

2+ years' experience in a clinical nursing setting

Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal/phone

Independent, self-motivated individual

Strong organization & time management skills

Advance computer skills required- Microsoft Excel

Clinical nursing experience with at least 1 of the listed populations required

1. Pediatric: Child immunizations

2. Pediatric: Weight Counseling/Physical Fitness

3. Adult Diabetes

4. Adult BMI

5. Adult Colon Cancer

6. Adult High Blood Pressure/Hypertension

7. Women’s Health: Cervical Cancer

8. Prenatal/Post-Partem

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience (4 years' nursing experience)

HEDIS experience - OR - Quality/Chart Reviewing experience
