Relocation Coordinator Job at Galloway Ridge, Inc.
Join our team! Galloway Ridge is an upscale continuing care retirement community located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro in Chatham County, NC. We are currently seeking a Relocation Coordinator. The Relocation Coordinator is responsible for facilitating a smooth transition for resident moves within the Independent Living of a continuous care community. This position reports to the Director of Renovations & Relocation and works closely with the Marketing & Sales team.
This role includes:
- Assisting new residents with interior selections (paint, flooring, countertops, etc.).
- Planning and scheduling of meetings.
- High attention to details of all relocation activities.
- Coordinating multiple new resident selections/moves at the same time.
- Document development, updating and maintain information regarding the selection and renovation status.
- Responsible for effective communications between residents, Marketing & Sales, Renovations Senior Project Manager, vendors and other departments as necessary to ensure resident satisfaction and that Galloway Ridge policies and procedures are followed during the renovations and IL move process.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Requires multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating superior customer service.
- Must have solid understanding and practical experience working within a busy office environment and understand general office management procedures.
- Must be able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Must have strong and effective written and verbal communication skills and be able to work collaboratively within a diverse work group.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be willing to perform duties inside and outside the facility when necessary.
- Must enjoy working with and have the ability to cooperate with other employees and leadership staff.
- Must be willing and eager to work with and provide assistance to the residents of the facility.
- Must have a genuine interest in long-term care and must believe in and uphold the philosophy of the facility.
