We are looking for a RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse for 2nd and 3rd Shift.

Registered Nurse - RN or LPN Job Summary:

• Assist Residents, Families and Physicians as needed.
• Provide report to Nurse coming on duty, including sufficient information for follow-up action as necessary.
• Conduct Resident rounds ongoing, reporting problems and initiating corrective action.
• Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action.
• Identify Resident problems and emergency situations and initiate immediate measures.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants providing direct Resident care.
• Administer and document medication and treatments per physician’s order and accurately record all care provided.
• Perform & document comprehensive assessment of each Resident.
• Assist in developing an accurate comprehensive care plan based on each Resident’s comprehensive assessment.
• Document Resident’s response, or lack of response, to care.
• Meet with the nursing staff in planning the department’s services, programs, and activities.

Registered Nurse - RN or LPN Qualifications:

• Current licensure in the State of Iowa as a Registered Nurse or LPN.
• Proof of COVID19 Vaccination Required.
• Current CPR certification.
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a long-term care setting or a new graduate with the desire to learn.
