Traditions private nurse can assist with the following:

• Vital signs
• Medication Management
• Education to client, family, and caregivers.
• Frequent communication with managers or family about client status.
• Organize medications and assess ongoing medical needs.
• Develop medication regimen and checklist.
• Dispense correct dosage of each medication as prescribed.
• Fill pills boxes or medication dispenser's; update with new medication orders.
• Reconcile medications and notify client when refills are needed.
• Reorder medications as needed and procure refills.
• Check labels, expirations dates, and warn patient or caregiver about potential interactions.
• Document using tablets provided by Traditions using private nursing software during or at the end of each shift.
• Communicate with management team, Nurse Manager.

Experience and Requirements:

• Must have a current Massachusetts Registered Nursing License from an accredited Nursing Program
• At least 5 years of experience working in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Home care experience preferred (1 year)
• A valid driver's license
• A reliable registered and insured vehicle.
• Must provide proof of vaccinations (Covid-19 and Flu Shot required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Must be able to speak clearly and understand English well.
• Must know how to use a Tablet and own a smart phone for providing documentation and managing your schedule.
• Must reside in the US.
• Med-Surge certified preferred (must have experience 2 years minimum)
