Position Description
GENEX is seeking a Regional Services Coordinator in Chippewa Falls, WI to provide personalized AI service and breeding program assistance to member/customers that will result in improved profit potential for them and present GENEX in a positive manner, enhancing confidence and respect of member/customers and the agricultural community. This candidate will also assist the Area Sales Managers, GENEX + Consultants and local sales team through coordinated, supportive efforts in achieving the service and sales goals of the sales unit.
This position is 95% dairy emphasis and 5% beef emphasis.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Provide reliable relief service and sales/service support to the Reproductive Program Sr Technicians
- Provide support services as needed by the area/district including AI Training, technician relief coverage
- Learn GENEX programs, services, products, and the AI business to the extent necessary to do the job effectively
- Assist in achieving desired herd and profit improvements for member/customers.
- Utilize sales and merchandising programs to secure current business and gain new business.
- Attend and participate in member relations activities in the local area
Qualifications
- Strong dairy background with experience working with large herds
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in heat detection on large farms
- Aggressive sales and service person who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must possess communication and people skills
- Willingness to learn and develop both personally and professionally
- Computer skills are required; and ability to work with herd management software is a plus
