Regional Inventory Specialist Job at Boart Longyear

The Regional Inventory Specialist will report to the Regional Inventory Manager and will coordinate with supply chain, procurement, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Sales Managers, and
Drilling Services operations to provide clarity on inbound shipments, expedite products, identify reserved inventory that can be shipped, as well as work closely with the sales on the SIOP Process.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Strong statistical, analytics skills, attention to detail.

· Self-Motivated, with good Interpersonal Relationships.

  • Teamwork

· Ability to interpret and summarize complex and large data sets.

· Identifies barriers and solutions to achieve results

· Intermediate Microsoft Excel

· Experience with ERP systems.

Major responsibilities include:

· Play a key role on the SIOP Regional Process for Canada – working with the sales and SIOP teams on Demand Reviews, as well as operating SIOP data

  • Prepare monthly forecast files for Products and DS
  • Uploading monthly forecast file into PP

· Work with Local CSRs to expedite most urgent orders

  • Review MSS schedules for opportunities

· Work with global buyers to rebalance Inventory as needed

· Review Items with Supply Issues and work with Regional Inv Manager on planning reviews

  • Planner workbench review
