Bennett Motor Express, LLC. is seeking a full-time Regional Driver Recruiter in our Casa Grande, AZ terminal.
Overview:
The Regional Driver Recruiter makes a positive contribution to the BME fleet count by effectively identifying, communicating with and on-boarding prospective owner-operators, company drivers and drivers for fleet owners. This is done through a variety of elements and methods such as Location (office vs road vs online), Media Sourcing (print vs digital vs home grown) and Solicitations (inbound calls vs outbound calls vs text vs email), and the Recruiter determines the appropriate cadence and interaction of each. The Regional Driver Recruiter operates with limited supervision and requires a high degree of self-motivation and commitment to results. Key traits include being an effective communicator with ability to persuade, being humble with the ability to listen and hear, thriving when the details are the most important, being curious and willing to investigate and ultimately having a passion for helping truck drivers find a meaningful, long-term carrier to build their career at.
Duties:
Identify: Utilize all resources available to develop a pipeline of prospects that meet the profile for driving at BME. This includes online applications, social media forums, database mining, truckshows, travel centers and most importantly word of mouth referrals.
Communicate: Develop conversations and interactions with candidate to listen and discover the reasons the candidate may be interested in joining Bennett. Become aware of items of dissatisfaction and provide explanation for how BME solves the respective issue. Distribute established marketing materials to prospects, and clarify major points of emphasis. Review submitted applications to ensure all candidates meet current established hiring requirements for the company. Maintain constant follow-up protocol with all applicants to ensure BME is at the front of mind when the candidate is ready to switch.
Onboard: Develop a full Driver Qualification and Legalization File, including but not limited to: running required MVR and Criminal Background checks, verifying past employment, collecting required documentation, validating truck and securement equipment requirements, and scheduling orientation.
Participate in field recruiting events.
