We aspire to aid the growth of our company by welcoming the most qualified and deserving candidates aboard. Optima is seeking a Medical Referrals Coordinator to process and file patient records. The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare experience and familiarity with medical terminology. This individual will maintain accuracy and confidentiality while filing medical records to ensure quality patient care.
Medical Referrals Coordinator Responsibilities:
· Evaluate incoming documentation and upload into appropriate patients EMR.
· Regularly checking fax que and disturbing documents, as necessary.
· Maintain privacy of all patient information.
· Review medical records for completeness and mail/fax records to designated
representative.
Medical Referrals Coordinator Qualifications:
· 1yr EMR experience
· 1yr working experience in medical office
· Understanding of medical terminology
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Detail orientated
· Positive attitude that welcomes teamwork
· Multitask efficiently
· Timeliness and dependability
