Recruiting Supervisor Job at Colorado Coalition for the Homeless
The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Recruiting Supervisor to oversee the leveraging of best practices in recruiting, performing full life cycle recruiting logistics, and assisting in training hiring managers on Coalition recruiting and hiring practices and administrative processes. This position serves as a partner on the Human Resources team, actively engaged in attracting and retaining employees. This position is located at 730 21st Street, Denver, Colorado 80205 and reports to the Director of HR Operations.

8. Conducts criminal background and Motor Vehicle Record screenings for prospective employees. Present prospective employees to Hiring Managers once screening results are available.
9. Assists in the preparation and facilitation of leadership presentation and training on the subject of recruiting.
10. Attends Hiring Events and Career Fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
11. Assists in coordination of efforts with third-party recruiting firms for applicable positions.
12. Assists in the design of materials and protocols for diversity recruiting in all departments and programs.
13. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
14. Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
15. Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry; takes responsibility for continued professional development.
16. Collaborates with manager to identify goals as part of regular supervision and learning/development plans.
17. Assists Director of HR Operations in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, performance management, and in developing recruiting team’s professional growth.
18. Serves on agency committees of own choosing.
19. Maintains current and complete COVID‐19 vaccination(s), as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health authorities.
20. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Summary
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
2. Experience in a human resource generalist or recruiting role required. Other relevant experience may be considered.
3. HRCI certification or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
