Position Summary
At Aviva Senior Living,

This position is an ambassador to current and prospective employees, providing information and support services at all stages of the employee life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, orientation, career planning and career development. The Recruitment and Retention Manager works with senior management in developing strategies to recruit and retain a strong work force and promotes Aviva Senior Living as an employer of choice in the community.
To ensure success, Recruitment Specialists should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of recruiting strategies along with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Top candidates will be fantastic at critically thinking, effective at recruitment strategies and thorough in the recruitment process.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in filling positions while meeting KPI’s and providing a positive candidate experience. They also have the aptitude to design, develop, implement, and oversee the recruiting processes and strategies while leading and exemplifying the company culture.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement community’s recruiting strategy for a culturally diverse workforce to include digital platforms, special events, community outreach and reputation management.
- Manage the entire employee recruitment process to include advertising, sourcing, interviewing, screening, selection process and hiring of applicants.
- Advertise and promote employment opportunities via the website, online job boards, social media, job fairs and career events.
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) to include posting vacant positions, job promotion, on-boarding, accuracy in applicant data and candidate communication.
- Implement and manage welcoming new hire orientation and on-going training programs to ensure employees are properly trained and set up for success.
- Monitor compliance with all regulatory and company required training.
- Develop programs to foster team member engagement, such as recognition programs, committees, milestone celebrations and check-ins at regular intervals.
- Conduct current employee and exit surveys to collect data, adapt and improve retention.
- Be a steward of Aviva Senior Living’s culture by developing positive employee relationships and helping to foster a climate of high performance, teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication.
- Understands and anticipates current market trends and their impact on the talent acquisition and retention of highly qualified talent.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, training or engagement is preferred.

- Possesses a passion for serving seniors and growing teams.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
