Due to company growth, we are looking to hire a Full-Time Recruiter at Quality Cellular, UScellular authorized agent. We are looking for an outgoing person interested in joining our fun and relaxed work environment. We have a small team, but we accomplish great things! From our corporate headquarters in Verona, WI, the candidate we are looking for will recruit and hire top talent to join our Retail Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing/sales/communications and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary:
The recruiter will be responsible for finding, sourcing, attracting, screening, and hiring top talent with the goal to fulfil the company’s hiring needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in recruiting, relationship building, creativity and sales skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, specifically in Retail.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify current and future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications
  • Develop and implement sustainable recruiting strategies based on our company goals and needs in order to attract top talent
  • Source candidates through various channels, including on-line employment sites, job boards, social media, referrals and more
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings
  • Enthusiasm for communicating our company’s vision and mission to attract strong applicants
  • Negotiate job offers and facilitate the hiring process
  • Complete paperwork for new hires
  • Promote the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Determine the effectiveness and success of current recruiting plans and strategies
  • Evaluate and report which sources bring best candidates for our retail position - Recommend new sources for candidate recruiting
  • Prepare weekly reporting based on progress
  • Stay up-to-date on retail and wireless industry trends and best practices in recruiting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the recruiting process and the ability to recommend improvements
  • People skills – being able to chat with everyone from diverse walks of life
  • Experience in Marketing and/or Sales – passionately sell a position to a candidate, convince them to apply, interview and accept a job offer
  • Proven ability to positively promote a company and job position, effectively landing the best candidates for the job
  • Proven success in delivering results in a fast-paced environment – requires a strong sense of urgency
  • Established Skills using an Application Tracking System
  • Experience maintaining career pages and job descriptions
  • Proven ability to create a positive candidate experience
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of information – high degree of integrity
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – with a strong ability to relate to others
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service
  • Desire to grow professionally
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Ability to multi-task in high volume situations

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Additional Human Resources and Recruiting training is a plus
  • 2 years experience as a recruiter or similar relevant business experience

Licenses, Certifications Required:

  • Valid driver’s license with motor vehicle record within company guidelines
  • Current auto insurance

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate noise levels in office environment
  • Travel Required
