Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son, LP is seeking Recruiter who will actively source, screen, and schedule interviews with candidates based on the needs of our subsidiary, Northstar Fire Protection.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze resumes using our software program for Sprinkler Designers, Alarm Designers, and PM's for our Northstar branches
  • Scour job search websites and social media for potential recruits and contact those candidates personally
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Interview potential employees using industry-standard techniques
  • Attend job fairs that help to achieve recruitment strategy
  • Promote the company culture and mission
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • 3+ years’ recruiting experience
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in recruiting
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs
  • Familiarity with online job-hunting websites
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
  • Planning/organizational skills
