Job Overview:

Recreation Supervisor complies closely with the Recreation Manager to guarantee success within the Recreation Department. Under direction, the recreation supervisor develop, implements, monitors, evaluates, and supervises the operations of the recreation department, club attendants and facility amenities. A direct supervisory level position responsible for supervising staff, fitness facility, pool occupancy, and beach amenities. Recreation Supervisor is required to ensure recreation amenities are properly maintained; and performs related work as required. Recreation Supervisor may oversee, assign, train, schedule, and monitor staff duties; evaluates employee performance and initiates disciplinary actions when needed with approval of Recreation Manager.

Recreation Supervisor Requirements:

1. Minimum of two (2) years' experience preferred

2. Proven ability in communication and a collaborative work environment

3. Creative personality with organizational skills and attention to detail

4. Willing to learn.

5. Previous customer service experience preferred

6. Positive, upbeat personality works well on a team, desire to learn and able to multi-task

7. Hours will vary- flexible schedule required

8. Able to transport and lift 35lbs and have no issues standing/walking around for long periods of time

9. Work closely with other Club Attendants and guide on duties.

10. Provide direct feedback and communication with with Recreation Manager.
