Responsibilities

Provides a full range of front desk operations in a busy dental care practice, as as provide customer service to patients, families, dentist and staff as needed. Represents image of the practice to patients, community and institution through person and telephone contact. Receives, greets patients, family members/visitors, physicians and hospital personnel as appropriate, in a friendly and courteous manner. Answer multiline telephone using appropriate telephone etiquette, triangle calls. Triage calls, records/communicates/delivers all messages assuring accuracy and timelines. Schedules/confirms all patient appointments for a high volume practice into the resource scheduling system. Maintains and updates all residents (such as vacation, ER rotation, conference, ETC). Works the open encounter report produces by the resource scheduling system. Records, updates and enter all data regarding information of the no show patients. Organizes and prepares charts. Filling of patient charts and information into the dental record. Assist with patient registration when necessary. Cross cover in other section when necessary.
