Real Estate Transaction Coordinator Job at Stout & Teague
Stout & Teague is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to support commercial leasing and marketing operations. Stout & Teague is a well-regarded commercial management, leasing and development firm with a portfolio of over 800,000 sf of office space in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland. The leasing and management portfolio includes company-owned and client properties. Office buildings are the principal focus, with some assignments for retail, flex, and warehouse properties. The company also undertakes leasing and sales brokerage assignments for properties of all types.
Responsibilities
- Assists with leasing, marketing and event planning efforts to promote commercial spaces for lease to retain existing tenants and attract qualified prospective users.
- Update and maintain a database of clients, prospects, and lease comps, etc.
- Assist with coordination of contractor and vendor services, including commercial photographers, signage, architecture firms for space planning and BOMA requests.
- Supports the leasing team in evaluation of lease documents in a systematic and consistent manner and that all critical information is available and considered in collaboration with the relevant management, landlord(s), and external real estate service providers.
- Ongoing and ad-hoc basic financial analysis for new leases, lease renewals, etc.
- Track leasing activity to ensure effective ongoing management, successful lease execution, and compliance with all lease terms.
- Work with the Director of Leasing on leasing/marketing strategy by developing marketing packages, broker events, leasing signage, mailers, brochures, floor plans and other materials needed to aggressively promote space.
- Develop, update and maintain a database with pertinent market leasing information for office buildings in the DMV area.
- Supports the Director of Leasing through preparation and presentation of weekly leasing status reports, quarterly budget reports and other deliverables, as required.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Publisher and Excel) and Adobe (Acrobat, Reader, etc.)
- Solid interpersonal (verbal and written) communication and organizational/time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Commercial real estate experience required.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Familiarity with basic BOMA standards for office and retail space leasing.
- Experience in commercial real estate, architecture or related industries.
- Familiarity with Argus Enterprise.
- Familiarity with Yardi.
- Graphic design experience.
