Scheduler Radiology FT Days Position Summary
Position responsible for maintaining and coordinating the service schedule for non-surgical areas. Monitors and schedules all outpatient cases.
Records all pertinent information into the scheduling book for pre-procedure phone calls and references. Maintains good rapport and working
relations with internal and external customers. This position may verify insurance eligibility.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have knowledge of basic mathematics. Requires considerable logic and understanding to analyze problem and determine
course of action. Proficient at interpersonal relationships. Reads, writes and orally communicates at a level to correctly explain information. Must
have the ability to operate a telephone, computer, copy machine, and fax machine as required. Requires attention to detail. Works regularly with
confidential information. Must be familiar with medical terminology. Bi-lingual preferred.
SCHEDULER RADIOLOGY DIAGNOSTIC FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Prior clerical experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One-year experience in scheduling.
