We are currently recruiting for a Lighting Quotations Specialist to join our growing team based out of our mid-town Manhattan location. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. The quotations specialist works with our internal sales team, as well as lighting manufacturers to prepare accurate quotes for lighting products on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess great communication & organizational skills to help ensure we provide a quality sales experience.

Responsibilities include –

• Prepare detailed lighting quotes and proposals for customers.
• Evaluate vendor quotes for accuracy while comparing the quote to job specifications and/or technical drawings.
• Work with lighting manufacturers and factory representatives to obtain accurate cost information.
• Review blueprints and technical drawings with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure that all aspects of the lighting job are accounted for.
• Participate in client calls reviewing project status and action plans.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience of lighting experience with the ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, architectural sketches, and take-offs. A strong understanding of the construction industry and/or the NYC market is preferred. Effective and timely problem-solving skills with the ability to make time-critical decisions in complex situations. Strong communication and computer skills are a must. The desire to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change quickly and efficiently is required.
