Your impact would touch everything from developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving Quality Systems, in addition to procedures, and standards for on-going production and initiative delivery—in compliance with regulations for drug products, medical devices and cosmetic products.

    Our QA team strives for nothing but the best every single day. On our team, you’ll have direct responsibility for the management of on-site Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) personnel. You’ll play a key part in driving the integrity of our brands and helping us deliver our Quality Promise: “Quality our consumers, customers, regulators, and employees trust – everywhere, every time!”

    The Quality Manager will be in charge of the complete Quality Management System in a multi-Organizational Unit (Personal Health Care) plant in Phoenix which is rapidly going through a transformation. The Quality Manager will focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability for the organization’s products and work processes. They will be required to make risk-based decisions driven by data.

    The Quality Manager is a key role, fully accountable for ensuring quality standards are being upheld in the Quality Department and across the Phoenix plant. This is a large, challenging, and rewarding role critical to helping the site deliver against the mantra of being FDA Ready Everyday. Quality Management may include any of the following dependent upon current skills and opportunities for growth: Quality Control Labs, Capability & Compliance, Validations, Change Control, Quality in the Operations, SOP's, Initiatives/Projects, QPHA, Data Integrity, etc. You may have direct reports, technician leaders, and will be a key member of the plant's extended leadership team.

    Some responsibilities are the following but limited to:

  • Deliver project objectives in line with Regulatory requirements, P&G Quality Standards and the Company Quality Promise.
  • Supports managing company Quality Management Systems
  • Communicates quality standards to QA team and operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring operators are properly trained and that our highest quality standards are constantly being met.
  • Write and update Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining documents and manage document database (Enovia, Veeva, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Must have a minimum Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, or similar science degree.
  • Ability to support external and internal GMP audits
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in products regulated as drugs, medical devices and cosmetics in consumer goods or pharmaceutical products preferred
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Collaboration skills
