The Quality Assurance Specialist will provide direct process and quality support to existing and new client implementations. This includes the implementation of the North America Quality Management System documentation and components. Primary focus is documenting detailed operational procedures, training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement the DSV North America Quality Management System documentation and components to support existing clients and new client implementation throughout North America.
• Develop and document operational processes and procedures for existing and new clients. This entails both company and client-controlled systems.
• Create appropriate training modules and aids to facilitate the training of associates on documented processes.
• Lead and conduct training on selected procedures and processes for management and associates supporting site implementations
• Coordinate with site quality representatives to close gaps to improve performance
• Assist with site assessments when needed
• Complete assigned special projects when assigned

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 5 years’ experience in warehousing operations

Quality Related: Understanding of basic quality principles, documenting processes, work instructions

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio

Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal), interpersonal communication, problem-solving and presentation skills

Documentation: Developing documentation that is readable and understandable

• Strong interpersonal skills that promote team building
• Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment
• Proficient with process flow mapping
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Experience with auditing operations based on established Quality System

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee will use computers and smart phones to communicate. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision related to computers. Must be able to work flexible hours and/or travel, sometimes on short notice, possibly more than 50% or more travel. Travel mode is typically by air and/or automobile.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to work remotely and/or in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to consumer products, noise within warehouses that could cause minor harm. However, local safety measures will prevent any harm.
