Qnergy employs complex and innovative precision manufacturing systems to design, build and deliver unique remote power and compressed air pneumatics solutions to the burgeoning methane abatement industry. We're looking for an experienced Industrial Quality Inspector who will work with purchasing and manufacturing to approve the quality of raw materials before manufacturing begins. More importantly, identify nonconformities in both the product and supporting documentation.
*This role will be heavily focused on manufacturing/production inspection. Experience with electronics is not necessary as this role will not be working on electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have expereince in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing with the ability to read and understand blueprints and engineer drawings.
Position Responsibilities:
- QC Inspection support including, but not limited to; Incoming Inspection, Semi-finished Product Inspection, and Quality Acceptance/Rejection Documentation and Records activities.
- Support the established QMS/QA processes and working with internal resources as needed to recommend change to maintain high quality processes.
- Working knowledge of inspection methodologies, sampling plans, and techniques
- Understand basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing requirements and ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow Procedures & SOP
- Possess good basic mathematical skills, such as adding, subtracting, and rounding decimals
- Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or higher preferred
- At least 3 years of quality inspection in a manufacturing industry
- Ability to read geometric dimensioning and engineer drawings required
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Computer literate and reasonably proficient in MS Office Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills.
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Required to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Keen attention to detail
- Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
