About the Role:

Quality Review Analyst will perform upfront reviews to ensure portfolios are complying with established bank policies and procedures. This position will also lead and participate in non-targeted and targeted data quality reviews.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the ongoing upfront quality review of applicable loan documents/files/transactions to ensure adherence to established bank policies and procedures.
  • Applies subject matter knowledge to review and determine trends, patterns, non-compliance issues and weaknesses in bank policies and procedures.
  • Identifies potential non-compliance issues, problem areas and trends by describing facts and circumstances and provide findings in a timely manner.
  • Upon direction of the Director, Strategic Operations, prepares reports, related analyses and drafts recommendations to assist management of the various business units to:
    • ensure on-going compliance
    • improve internal controls
    • minimize unnecessary losses
    • identify staff training needs
  • Reviews identified management information reports (exception reports)
  • Utilizes the bank's application core system reports and queries to expedite the comparison of document information reviews wherever possible.
  • Performs other special duties/projects as assigned.
  • Responds promptly, solicits feedback for improvement and responds to requests for service and assistance.
  • Maintains an awareness of timetables and deadlines. Attentive to details and keeps others informed of progress on assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrates effective judgment within area of responsibility. Collects and uses information relevant to work related problems.
  • Investigates issues before making decisions. Sorts through information to identify relevant or important details. Recognizes critical issues beyond the scope of own authority and brings these to other's attention.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), displays professional demeanor and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent as well as 2+ years of job related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in bank policies/procedures.
  • Ability to evaluate information against a set of standards and verify that it is correct.
  • Ability to compile and summarize findings found during a review into a report format.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills.
