Responsible for organizing and managing large and varied data sets and analyzing healthcare data to optimize business operations and quality improvement priorities. The data analyst must be able to research, understand and mimic scoring and financial reimbursement methodologies and use data visualization and detailed reports to communicate findings to Peterson Health leaders. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, coordinating and directing quality teams to support improvements in clinical practice, service quality, and regulatory compliance. The QA is responsible for the day-to-day support of strategic quality and process improvement. The QA directs programs, departments, leaders, and the medical staff by providing leadership and guidance in supporting a quality culture, quality activities, establishing measurements to monitor performance, ensuring high data integrity, role modeling CQI principles, and teaching and training others to promote the principles of performance improvement.

EDUCATION
Required: Formal training or experience in data analysis and continuous quality improvement principles, tools and techniques.
Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required: Math and PC-based computer skills including Word and Excel. CQI tools and techniques and the use of best practice concepts and tools. Knowledge of regulatory standards related to the monitoring of health information and performance improvement.
Preferred: Demonstrates ability to effectively train, presents to large and small groups, facilitate teams and act as a consultant to clinical and non-clinical departments/programs. Can identify and analyze group dynamics and recommend interventions in collaboration with peers.

CERTIFICATION
Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Training Certification and/or Certified Professional in Heatlh Care Quality (CPHQ)

EXPERIENCE
Required: Minimum 3 years of applicable healthcare data analysis
Preferred: One year applicable quality improvement experience
