As an armed Protective Surveillance Agent, you will augment vehicle security/drivers to ensure safe and secure delivery of assigned assets or clients. We are looking for people with exceptional surveillance/counter-surveillance skills. Applicants should be comfortable working with other security personnel, operating a vehicle and other surveillance equipment, tracking persons or vehicles of interest, responding to threats, and representing Eagle Eye and clients with pride. We seek mature people with a strong work ethic and the ability to operate independently or as a team within a highly populated urban area while conducting surveillance operations. In addition, applicants need to be able to communicate effectively with members of management and other security personnel. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA.
DUTIES:

The Agent will be required to perform a full range of security protection skills and services, including but not limited to:

  • Provide protective security and counter surveillance to identify physical threats against the client;
  • Drive vehicles on designated routes and locations, providing situational awareness and security;
  • Observe, report, and communicate to the team from mobile and static positions;
  • Respond to threats appropriately to protect the client, security staff, and property using company standard procedures;
  • Wear the recommended protective attire and dress code directed by the company;
  • Maintain clear, timely communications with company management, team members and client;
  • Other duties as assigned by the client and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • State issued Guard Card;
  • Exposed Firearms Permit;
  • Concealed Carry Weapon Permit or LEOSA (HR-218)
  • Valid US driver’s license;
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification

PREFERRED TRAINING:

  • Vehicle Defensive Driving Course or EVOC;
  • Surveillance/Counter-Surveillance course;
  • Tactical Firearms course

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Military SOF;
  • Law Enforcement;
  • Executive Protection;
  • Protective Surveillance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a
Protective Surveillance Agent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow for certain ADA requirements.

  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or other customers;
  • The employee is required to hear conversations in noisy environments;
  • Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs and walk as required to perform the duties associated with functioning as a security officer;
  • Ability to squat, kneel and crawl as needed;
  • Occasional pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting of objects; may be up to 50 lbs and include climbing stairs;
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods;
  • Ability to use hands to handle, hold or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms, and talk or hear;
  • Normal vision is corrected by using glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus;
  • May occasionally be required to work outdoors in inclement weather;
  • May be required in some positions to have sufficient dexterity, mobility, and physical ability, and stamina to restrain individuals from following established guidelines and sufficient mobility to respond to clients’ needs;
  • May experience occasional confrontational situations where “Use of Force” and escalation of force may be required

Pay: $62.50 per hour
