Job Title: Project Manager – Construction & Technology Liaison

Location: Arlington, TX 76011 USA

Position Type: Full-time Employee or contract

The selected Project Manager shall act as the liaison between AISD construction projects and the AISD Technology department to include oversight of inside and outside cabling subsystems, cabling pathways and Audio-Visual systems.

Job Duties:

• Represent AISD Technology at construction and project design meetings to ensure that project specifications follow district standards and recommendations of AISD Technology.

• Ensure that AISD Technology standards are adhered to throughout all applicable construction projects and phases.

• Conduct regular site visits of all construction related projects.

• Attend construction meetings and communicate project updates to AISD Technology. It is anticipated that the construction meetings will occur weekly and on occasion bi-weekly.

Construction meetings will occur during normal working hours.

• Attend regular meetings with AISD Technology to provide briefings on the status of the construction projects.

• Provide regular communications to AISD Technology to include project milestones, , critical dates, roadblocks, changes, contingency plans, etc. In addition, relevant communications to Architects, General Contractors, and subcontractors is required.

• Conduct post-construction and punch list site visits to verify adherance to standards and project completion.

• Participate in the criteria development for and selection of technology subcontractors for

construction related projects.

• Review and comment on technology designs provided by the District’s Architech or MEP
