TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Specialty Contractor in the Greater San Francisco/East Bay Area on their search for a Project Engineer to work on Heavy Civil and Underground Utilities projects.
Job Title: Project Engineer - Underground Utilities and Heavy Civil (2+ years of experience)
Project Types: Underground Utilities, Earthworks and Excavation
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to perform all essential Project Engineer job responsibilities
- Experience and comfort performing Project Engineer’s responsibilities
- Assist in estimating and establishing budgets and contract price
- Assist in cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
- Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
- Assist Project Manager in maintaining the project schedule and budget
- Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
- Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
- Manage project deliverables
Skills & Qualification:
- 2+ years as Project Engineer projects for a reputable Earthworks or Underground Contractor
- Earthworks and Underground Project Experience
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn, grow, and develop, with a team that wants to promote your success
