We currently have an opportunity for a packer (day or night shift) to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC.

Pay: $23.00

Your Role:

As a Production Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping duties and some facility maintenance duties including minor repairs throughout the plant. You will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct maintenance on a prescribed schedule of the main production/support areas including cleaning of building walls/ceilings, overhead pipes, and production equipment using approved provided tools and equipment such as scissor lifts
• Remove and dispose of undesired packaging material, tape, and temporary repairs throughout the plant
• Dust and polish production equipment
• Maintain/Replace ergonomic mats for production employees
• Maintain the exterior of the facility with scheduled yard cleanings

Ultimately, you will accomplish tasks through the safe and efficient use of Company equipment when necessary using the application of all company required good housekeeping practices.

We need you to have:

• Two (2) years of experience in sanitation maintenance
• One (1) year experience operating lift equipment including scissor-lifts and articulating boom lifts
• One (1) year experience operating forklifts
• Comfortable working at heights
• Detail-orientated, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises
• Ability to complete tasks and forms

Icing on the cake:

• Prior experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
