Job Description
Under direction, sets up and operates various exhaust and test equipment. Assists in maintaining workflow through vacuum tubes pumping and test areas.
Job Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:

• Sets up and operates agers, pumps and test equipment to specs.
• Maintains records and generates test conditions.

• Performs the exhaust processing for vacuum tubes.
• Performs trimming and basing on vacuum tubes.
• Performs aging and testing vacuum tubes.
• Receives projects, RA’s, duds and value-added tubes, making sure they proceed through in a timely manner.

• Handles stock receipts, project paperwork, and other process documentation
• Consults with technicians or engineers on RA’s and other test procedures.
• Uses voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other test meters to monitor and record measurements.

Performs manufacturing operations in other departments and any other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Well organized person able to communicate well with others. Good understanding of various test equipment and tests parameters terminology. Ability to understand pump and age schedules and tip on/tip off tubulated products. *Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Working Environment: Clean, well-lighted air-conditioned area. Some hazards from high voltage while testing.
