Production Associate (FT) Job at Child & Family Resources
The Production Associate greets and assists donors and customers tactfully and courteously. The Production Associate helps accept and secure donations; writes receipts for donors, prepares, processes, prices ad stocks merchandise and helps load/unload trucks and trailers.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists management with operating a profitable thrift store
- Maintains a neat and orderly appearance in the store and processing area including retuning merchandise to the proper place, rearranging merchandise moved by customers, dusting, sweeping and all other housekeeping duties.
- Ensures that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintain outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
- Greet donors in a timely manner in a courteous manner, unloads donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts, and maintains accurate daily donor count.
- Cleans toppers and replaces and displays merchandise in the store in accordance to guidelines and procedures.
- Correctly hangs textiles, affixes price tags, transports merchandise on the sales floor, and displays it in the appropriate location.
- Meets hang count productivity standards.
- Sort apparel and hard goods into salvage and saleable categories.
- Assists in the achievement or production and sales goals for the by meeting sorting and pricing daily goals according to the SOP’s
- Suggests improvements in material flow and job tasks to supervisor
- Assists with the security of the store inventory and observes all customer to reduce shrinkage of CFR property. Recognizes that all items donated or purchased by CFR belongs to the company and are not to be taken, given away or sold inappropriately.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as required
- Adheres to all CFR’s policies and procedures
- Maintains acceptable attendance, person hygiene, and dress code standards including wearing company issued name badges
- Works closely with store management and other associated to ensure donations reach the sales floor in a timely manner
- Demonstrates a good work habits, maintaining a good attitude towards the operation of the entire facility
- Ensures all safety rules and adhered to and the general upkeep of your area meets the standards of CFR
- Reports accidents and injuries immediately
- Assists in other areas as requested
REQUIREMENTS:
- Six months retail/customer service environment preferred.
- Maintain a functional and safe home working space with adequate internet connection for the job.
- Comply with all agency and program policies and procedures including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage and dress code.
- Meet program/department’s performance and productivity standards.
- Attend required agency and program/department meetings.
- Adhere to the schedule agreed upon with the supervisor.
- Follow and model CFR’s core values.
- Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, vehicle and meet agency liability insurance requirements.
- Consistent with CDC’s new streamlined guidance, the Safer Federal Workforce determined COVID-19 workplace safety protocols will not vary based on vaccination status or otherwise depend on vaccination information. Due to this determination, requiring, requesting, or collecting vaccination status information is suspended.

ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work various shifts and special events to include evenings and weekends and assigned by the supervisor.
- Trustworthy to handle high volumes of cash daily.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to resolve issues in a calm and efficient manner.
- Sitting for extended periods of time daily; standing and walking short distances.
- Moderate twisting, bending, stooping and lifting up to 40 pounds in the performance of assigned duties
- Ability to use a variety of office equipment and machines as referenced.
- Normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination required.
- Repeated hand-wrist movement required.
The nature of the position involves a fast-paced working environment with multitasking of many different duties and tasks. General daily priorities may change at a moment’s notice and the position requires quick response time and flexibility.
