Description:

As a Production Assistant you’ll work as part of a team of energetic task-busters to make sure our kitchen items and baked goods are produced and distributed to the many Kuppa Joy Coffee customers out there. This is an entry-level position in the operations department at our Commissary. Work alongside a team of awesome production staff, baristas and the best coffee in the world. Ideal candidates are folks who are detail-oriented and have a knack for time management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain positivity and enthusiasm at all times
  
• You can plan on working about 4-5 days a week
• You can plan on a typical working day being 8 hours
  
• You'll interact with Kuppa Joy employees and customers in a professional and positive manner
  
• Adhere to delivery schedule
• Develop and execute organized, efficient prepping, and packaging.
  
• Ensure all product is stocked in FIFO order
• Problem solve on the fly
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement
• Assists in receiving, and put away of all incoming orders as necessary
• Accurately fill and assemble orders for delivery
• Must be willing to work early morning shift
• Must be willing to work in the Kitchen on days when there are no deliveries

• Available Weekends and Holidays is required
• Ability to obtain a CA food handlers certificate is required
  
• Must have a valid driver's license within the state of California
• Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• Must posses a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior organizational, planning and time management skills
• Ability to work well individually and with a team
  
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in any given situation
• Ability to work full-time and with a changing schedule (including early hours)

Pay & Benefits:

• $15.50-20/hr
