Product Assortment Manager - North (North East/North Central) Job at TireHub, LLC

The Manager, Product Assortment analyzes customer and region market data to recommend product assortment in their assigned TLCs to maximize sales.

Role Specifics:

§ Conduct market specific assessments of competitors, customers and suppliers to deliver data driven insights on how to best optimize service and sales for the local markets in support of all cross- channel Sales teams leadership.

§ Collaborate with Demand Specialists on local forecast to improve forecast accuracy and make speedy adjustments on mix and volume at a SKU level.

§ Develop activation plans with customer specific metrics on new product introductions and assess SKU performance for first 6 months of launch.

§ Identify underperforming SKUs and facilitate local action plans to move SKU to improved performance or move to closeout.

§ Participate in decisions for SKU substitutions or alternatives during periods of product availability challenges.

§ Provides consultative relationship to TireHub Sales team to advise customers on assortment and how to aid customers in improved product sell through.

§ Focuses on improving in-stock percentages / shipments to customers from their primary TLC

Experience:

  • 3+ years of tire industry product management / knowledge, with preference for Bridgestone / Goodyear / Toyo brands
  • 2+ years experience cross functional work experience (Sales / Supply Chain / Operations)
  • 1+ years experience with data analytics preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Required to have a valid driver’s license and 3-5 years driving experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

§ Fluency with supply chain processes

§ Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems (Prophet 21)

§ Familiarity if with business intelligence tools (Power BI / Tableau / ClickSense)

§ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

§ Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation

§ Ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to grow market share

§ Home and TLC based work with daily travel up to 25%, limited overnights

Salary compensation range: $82,000.00 to $122,250.00
